Finished up all previous tasks and had another meeting with the team. I am still waiting on 3d art to start replacing blockmesh assets. The screenshot below shows the level at the end of the second BlockMesh Sprint. My next steps will be to build out the interior of the Castle and to move towards finding a way to remove the Hexes in the levels as Orrett (Programing Lead) wants to have them removed. I’m thinking that this will look like using the landscape Layer as the base and working on adding in more topography and possibly some water features. (P.S. I wound up really liking Anna’s (Art Lead) idea to increase the size of all my buildings. It does look better, also I had to reduce the number of buildings to fit in the bigger ones and this makes the map look less cluttered.)
