This project showcases a family friendly table top board game I developed called “Ditch” It is inspire by an American LARP called Belegarth, where they warm up by playing a simple ruleset called “Ditching” which is basically just a melee with different weapon types involved to stretch their muscles and test their skills. The parameters of this project that I could not step outside were. “Everything for the game, including rules, gameboard, extra pieces etc...must fit on Two sheets of paper so it can be easily printed and played at home, with the exception of two six sided dice.” Coming up with unique and engaging mechanics within those parameters was definitely challenging, but also a lot of fun.
